RENUFed is a federated identity management solution offered by RENU (Research and Education Network for Uganda). It enables institutions onboarded on the RENU Managed IdP Service to seamlessly integrate with the RENU Identity Federation (RIF). By default, all institutions using the Managed IdP service are automatically onboarded onto RIF, giving them access to a wide range of research and education resources.

With RENUFed, institutions can enjoy secure and centralized identity management while leveraging the same credentials used on the Managed IdP service.
